About Sam

Sam Motamedi is an Iranian-American filmmaker and cinematographer. His commercial experience includes work for United Way, Vitamin Water, Vogue, and many others. His narrative work behind the camera includes Rashad Frett’s debut feature RICKY, backed by Cary Fukunaga and winner of the Directing Award at Sundance 2025; Joecar Hanna’s DELIVER ME and TALK ME executive produced by Spike Lee and selected for Cannes Film Festival, - La Cinef 2025 & TIFF 2025; and Alexandre Rockwell’s LUMP, winner of the Special Mention at the 2024 Warsaw International Film Festival.
